This box has a 250gb HDD with unlimited traffic. It is my first seedbox, and so far its awesome! At first when i ordered it, i was the only one on the server for about four days and i reached dl speeds of 29MB/s and upload sustained at 13MB/s... Then they put three other users on my server and im still able to sustain a 17MB/s DL and about 9MB/s UL.

This box is very very good for the price and the staff is excellent! I had OpenVPN problems, and one of the mods walked me through step by step helping me the whole way.

My server is located in the Netherlands, which ive heard is better than the French servers.. but idk im still new to this,

Im definatley gonna upgrade to the 335GB plan, so far in the two weeks ive had the box ive uploaded 2.3TB.

I would recommend their service to anyone!

Also, FTP Speeds are great! SFTP, not so much.

How can you download at 29 MB/S on 100mbps server it's impossibe.You mean 2900 kb/s ok but 29000 nope never. You need a gbit dedicated server for that.

I am currently using the same box right now
I was thinking of doing a review at the end of 1 month period
At the moment i can say that i was getting 20mbps+ download speeds as well
Cant really explain how though
upload speed never went above 9 mbps though and mostly between 1-2mbps

the highest download and upload i saw was around 12MByte/sec both way.
very good speed i would say.

before this, I sign up on Helium(the new plan) but the speed really is bad. the download was around 2 to 3 MByte/sec and upload max out at around 2MByte/sec
was on this plan for around 1 day. and request to switch to the old plan.
A happy user on the old plan now :)

setup was fast. although it state that it require <7days to setup the Helium plan. but I got it within 1min after the payment went through.
Requested to switch to old plan took a bit longer as they took around 4hrs to answer my ticket. after that they immediately create a new account for me on the old server.

This was my 2nd seedbox and i have to say it was much better than the first one.
Its really hard top beat such features at this price believe me.
Pros:
Download speeds were better than expected above 20+ mbps. I cannot say how i get 20mbps+ on a 100Mbit connection. However upload sppeds were around 1-2mbps on average. Peak speeds were 7-8 mbps but i could see that only a few times. I dont know if this was due to my choice of torrents or something else.
In 1 month i have used ~3.5 TB of data. There is no data details as to how much i downloaded and uploaded but i gigured i download over 1TB data and ~2.5TB upload.
I am thinking of switching to a dedicated or else i feel this a very good option for shared.
Cons:
The GUI is about lagging after i put a few torrents. Moreover a few commands did not work a few times like delete torrent+data or add torrent it gives an error in log.
Moreover no options to see amount of hdd space used etc like on a few other seedbox guis. Checking the status off hdd space involves opening a new page and refreshing it and wait 2 minutes.
The upload speeds never went to 7+ mbps and 1-2mbps avg is a bit slow i think especially fro 70+ torrents, 15_ trackers and mostly new stuff

Just signed up to the Argon seedbox plan today at about 3pm, just waiting for everything to be set up now. Will post a mini review in a week or so. Hopefully my experiences will be similar to many of you guys before me.

I ended up with Feral Hosting while looking for a cheaper alternative to Xirvik. So, here is my review after almost 3 weeks of using their services:

Setup: The setup time is award winning. I paid through Google checkout and i had my seedbox ready exactly 5 minutes after the payment. Seriously, this was rediculously fast.

Speeds: You just can't beat Feral Hosting. Depending on the availability of the torrents, i usually download torrents at around 10-15 MB/s and upload them at 5-10 MB/s. However, this is a very generic rule and applies only to the initial period of the torrent's life. When the seeders start to add up, the UL speed goes down to 1-2 MB/s. However, i've seen upload speeds going up to 15 MB/s and download speeds up to 41.2 MB/s. As a matter of fact, here's a SS i took an hour ago:



The average DL speed of this torrent was 38.15 MB/s.

Support: You can contact them by either using their ticket system or via IRC. The ticket system is a bit slow. It took them like 1 week to reply back but the IRC is a good and fast way to get your answers. Overall, their support is very good. The staff (and not only) are always willing to help you even with the most stupid question.


Honestly, Neon Plan is top notch. Unlimited bandwidth, 250 HD, awesome speeds for 18 euros per month. Can you beat that?
