I'm going to buy my first seedbox and I think this one looks great, but idk, to be honest it looks kinda shady. It's a bit like a too good to be true scenario

3 days have passed, and they gave me no answer. They just lied to me and everyone. I will never go to Use their services, also recommend to anyone I will not.

It works but there is some issues with the company and paypal as it relates to delay time in transfer of funds. Might be paying with credit card directly works better. Speed are good after setup and no downtime while i was there.

lol they are offering a so called "dump" with the latest torrents for download. in other words, some kind of pay for leech. I do not recommend using a company advertising stuff like this in public it all! its a just a matter of time that the authorities catch up.

AVOID them, totally a waste of money. Really unprofessional.

I rented their 1 week 1gbit booster to try out before paying to monthly, during the first 5 days it worked fine however sometimes GUI became slow for a few minutes.
The fifth day I contacted them to switch to monthly and paid the invoice, that same night the service became unusable, GUI was taking 5 minutes to load (yeah, I used my stopwatch) and the seedbox started crashing. First all the requests to the rTorrent timed out and then crashed, constantly.

So, I contacted this arrogants about this problem and they told me that the problem was in my ISP, that their servers were not heavily loaded and the GUI was taking 7 secs to load for them. I tried with a proxy, a vpn and asked 2 friends with different ISP and it wasn't loading for anyone.

For the next 3 days the service became unusable, sure high cpu/hdd load, I couldn't even log in to my seedbox. I contacted him asking for refund on my monthly payment which I didn't even started to use cause I was already on my week booster service and he refused, he said that I was not getting a refund and instantly removed my account from the servers!!

Now I have an open case being reviewed by PayPal where he changed the topic and said that my account was removed from their servers for containing copyright material.
I think he already done this before, he just copypasted this "copyright" speech from someone else who asked for a refund.

I don't know what is going to happen with my 11usd payment being reviewed by PayPal, I really don't care, I just want that noone else get scammed by this.

BTW, now I switched to DTSLeech, I should have done this in the first instance, I wanted to but there wasn't stock so I tried meggafast, really a bad decision.

Had a seedbox from these guys. I just got an email complaining about fair use.

    Here's the whole email.

    Hello guys and gals

We are going super sonic, but only for our dedicated customers.

From now on we will not allow public trackers on our servers for new customers or existing ones who abuse them.

We have been monitoring our servers for 8 weeks and the abuse we have found from customers using public trackers is appalling.

We believe that the use of public trackers should be limited to a ratio of 2:1 and no more, but we are seeing 120MB torrents uploading over 2TB of data at high speeds to public trackers in very short periods of time which only means one thing anyone else using the server is being restricted, We as providers still get a fair use policy so if an inconsiderate customers tags a torrent then just leaves it without any regard to others without setting ratios that customer will be removed from our servers making a more user friendly environment for others.

We will be upgrading our servers one by one and moving customers to these new servers, each and every customer will be checked for abuse of public trackers using the logs we have and removed accordingly regardless of the feedback or cost to the company.

The use of public trackers will be by request only and strict monitoring by us.

This policy will apply to all customers regardless of dedicated or shared servers as we still have to pay for bandwidth over usage and it is getting expensive.

Also our knowledgebase will be fully updated over the next few weeks to guide customers in setting ratios on public trackers and generating good ratios on private trackers.

We know this will not appeal to all of our customers but we feel that one bad apple can upset an apple cart and we are going back to our roots and providing a good cheap fast service to good genuine customers and not customers who join Meggafast because it is cheap and to just abuse the service.

I hope i have your full understanding in this decision but it is a decision i have taken for the better not the worse.

    Warmest regards

    Andrew
Not sure I understand the issue. They said public trackers are allowed. They know what a seedbox is used for. They capped upload traffic to limit total use. How exactly did the customers "abuse" the service? IDK, but I've moved my files. Since meggafast are randomly making up rules and deleting users' accounts for "abuse" of the rules they didn't agree to in the first place, I would recommend anyone else who currently has an account with them cancel it.
