    Default 100tbh.com

Did a one month test of the seedbox hosting plan called : SeedBox UT -S-

    Name: 100tbh.com

Speed: Theoricaly 1Gbit shared connection (maximum 8). Donwload speed are ok but upload is very slow wich is a shame for a commercial seedbox. Download through ftp is also very slow like 100 kB per thread wich is not enough when you donwload one big file.

    Support: 5/10

GUI: RuTorrent v 0.370 / The Gui is an old version of rutorrent many usefull features are not implemented.

    Speed of GUI: good

    Package: SeedBox UT -S-

    Price: 5.99 euros / month

    Overall rating: 3/10

    Overall impression :
The service provided is not good.
Often your torrents are displayed on error and it's very painfull to get them fully downloaded. Getting back your files is also very difficult as long as the speed is quietly slow. The supprot is answering but you have to give many explainations on your problem, provide screenshot and giving your acces code.
It's also impossible to know how much data you transfered for a certain time period.

I don't recomend to buy a seedbox from them or maybe if you just need to boost up your ratio a little bit for a few bucks

Everything I've seen so far about this seedbox provider has been bad. I would avoid this provider.

It is worth mentioning though that you can get a price match on other providers using this. The 500GB 1gbit semi-dedi is a lot cheaper than most.

Yes I agree completely, I tried these guys out and quickly switched to UnderLeech, the uptime was terrible, speed also, no support whatsoever.

Overall: 1/10 (I give the 1 considering the price)

    Verdict: Stay away

Speed: 2/10 1GBiT Shared Connection (Maximum of 8)
    Support: 1/10
GUI: 4/10 uTorrent Web UI v0.370
    Speed of GUI: 7/10
Package: SeedBox UT -S- (100 GB disc space)
    Price: €5.99/mo

Unfortunately I was not well informed before I chose this SB provider. If I took the time to read what others have written about them I would never chose to use this SB.

I needed a cheap SB and I knew that for that money I can not expect much. However what I got was very disappointing. Although the title was 1 Gb Shared Connection (Maximum of 8), I really expected the speed to be in the range of shared 100 Mbps (2 MB upload). Unfortunately, the speed was well below that. Download speed maximum was reached at about 7 MB and on average did not exceed 2 MB which, although slow, was sufficient for that price. The problem was upload speed that did not exceed an average of 200-300 KB (the maximum that I saw only once for a few minutes was a 1.5 MB). These speeds were on brand new very popular torrents that have a seeder to leeacher ratio 1/10 or higher.

GUI was very old with no plugins (RSS, IRSS), without total transferred data info, without the possibility of creating torrents. Speed was correct and there was no blocking.
FTP was able to maximize my connection (1 MB).

I would somehow accept all this (due to price) but after a week of use I reached about 70% of disc space and then the real problems started. Each new torrent I added gave me the error message. I wrote a ticket but after 24 hours I got no response. Then I wiped 20% of the data, and I could add torrents until the disc was filled up to 70 GB. Any subsequent torrent gave me an error. Then I realized that their partitioning by users is not correct and I do not have available all of the 100 GB. I wrote a new ticket and after several days of waiting I was told that there is a problem with my credit card and my service was stopped. The message said that they were informed about the problem from 2checkout.com, although I did not made payment via 2checkout.com.
After my several messages in which I sent all the relevant details of the payment, there was no response. 3 days later, when I had already accepted that I was cheated and bought a SB from another provider, I received a reply that they are apologizing for mistake and I can continue to use their service. When I tried to log in a username and password had been changed and I had to write a new ticket and wait more than 24 hours to enable me to access the SB.
Of course, all data were deleted :(

After all, I no longer have any will or desire to use my SB even though I have two more weeks.

Sorry for the long post, but I think it's important for people to be better informed what to expect from this provider.

Hmm, I responded last night with a simple message, a simple quote from Woody Allen "The Food is Bad, and Portions are Small". This got reported as Spam. Which it wasn't, admittedly it was cutely elliptical, but it was stating simply that I agree with the poster, 100TBh.com is a bad deal, no matter the price.

"The Food is Bad, and Portions are Small", is shorthand for a joke from the beginning of Annie Hall - From IMDb:

There's an old joke - um... two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, "Boy, the food at this place is really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and such small portions."

Googling the quote as posted, also gets you a gaggle of results.

To recast the quote so it isn't so elliptical:

There's an old joke - um... two greybeards are using a seedbox from 100TBh, and one of 'em says, "Boy, the speeds I get are really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and their technical support is crap."

    I used
to be, as stated in earlier in the thread Anybody tried 100tbh seedboxes? , a paying customer of both 100TBh and SeedBoxOne (same company), and was very unhappy there, left as a disgruntled customer and it is one of the motivations for the forming of the seedbox company Chmuranet, the belief we could do better.

In my opinion 100TBh is a true blight on the seedbox market.

    ...and I don't spam.

    Overview
    Name : 100TBh.com
Link : Heck no! Type it in or get it from someone else, I won't be responsible for sending anyone there
Speed : 3/10 Supposedly 1GBiT Shared Connection (Maximum of 8)
    Support : 1/10
    GUI : 2/10 uTorrent WebUI v0.385
    Speed of GUI : 5/10
    Package : SeedBox UT -S- : 2GB DDR3/ 100GB SATA II/ Unlimited Bandwidth/ Dedicated IP/ HTTP Access/ Free "Instant" Setup (HAHAHAHAHA!)
    Price: €5.99/mo (approx. $8 USD/mo.)
    Overall rating: 2/10

    Notes:
So, some of the details I am a bit fuzzy on, I ditched my box with a few weeks left payed for in a raging fury back in late May, after giving them 3.5 month of my life and sanity I will never get back. Even now, more than 5 months later, I get so annoyed thinking about them- I figured they deserve a write up

    Ratings Details:
Speed: 3/10 Supposedly 1GBiT Shared Connection (Maximum of 8)
Like I said, "Supposedly." I Don't think I ever saw my total speeds up or down reach 10 MB/sec, and even if I was the first few seeders on several very popular Sunday night shows, my upload never really went over 1.5 MB/sec.

As far as my FTP speeds, they were outright pathetic. My home maximum download speeds at the time were 24Mb/sec (3 MB/sec), and after using multiple FTP (including the ones suggested on the 100TBh site) clients, the fastest I could ever get my download speeds was with CuteFTP at 700 KB/sec. I don't know if it was a peering issue, he lies or is misleading about the "Maximum of 8" (maybe max 8 HDDs, with multiple boxes/partitions per HDDs?); or maybe-since I am sure it is a shared disk with seedboxes coming in the size of 100GB- the read/write capabilities for the entire disk was always maxed out? Whatever the problem was, it never improved over 3.5 months (and 2 different seedboxes, more on that in a sec)

    Support : 1/10
This area here is where Danny (the owner) reeeaaaaally takes the cake.

    Customer/Tech Support
He takes forever to answer service tickets, and if there is back and forth corrospondance over an issue, I think each of your responses might just go back to the end of the queue of service tickets- so you could spend days working out small issues. And forget about the live help messenger, I used to think he would leave it announcing itself as online as some sort of psych experiment or something. I never once got anyone on it, and it always said something like "one person waiting" which I assume was my gullible a$$. At one point in a service ticket he actuall told me to come initiate a chat with him that way, but still wasn't responding in the time frame in which he told me to try.

My breaking point was when after waiting 2 days for a response on a ticket, I received an email from TBh saying (this is a copy/paste of the exact email).....
This is a notification to let you know that we are changing the status of your ticket #[REMOVED] to Closed as we have not received a response from you in over 24 hours.

Subject: torrent creation /http use/wrong connection made from client area
    Department: SeedBox UT Technical Support
    Priority: Medium
    Status: Closed

If you have any further questions then please just reply to re-open the ticket.

... I replied immediately, the ticket was never reopened, and I eventually had to start another one, starting the process all over. I officially stopped being friendly (which I very much was all the way up to that poin't- the end)

    Billing
I originally went for 3 months at a time (I mean, $8 a month, I figured why not?) When it came back around for my next billing cycle I was strapped for cash, so I was only able to for 1 of the 3 months. Billing is designed so that you can only pay a bill all or nothing, but there was a spot on their site where you could purchase credits that would go toward your bill, of course on in 10 Euro increments. Even though they had the credit on my account, the closed and wiped my box. And when I asked them if they could have just changed my billing cycle to monthly (which they offer, and I was getting no discount for paying for 3 months at a time) I was told to start a whole new service. For real. I am not kidding you even on tiny bit.

Anyways, for a few months after I quit I was still receiving emails containing invoices for both of those boxes, and If I sign into there client area the invoices (for boxes that were cut off the day these invoices were late) are still listed as unpaid. Technically they still have 4 Euros of mine, but I am so done with them.

    Security
During a period (about 6 weeks in) where my box crashed a few times in a row. Then once we got it back up, I realized all of my files (40gigs) were gone. Danny told me that they were deleted via FTP, and that it must have been me or someone I gave the password to (which was nobody).

With my second box I finally got HTTP access to my files, and I was able to open it through the client portal.....only it was everyone BUT my box I had access to.

    GUI : 2/10 uTorrent WebUI v0.385
This WebUI sucks to begin with. It's the one thing I don't blame Danny for, it's not like he wrote it or anything. But that doesn't change how annoying it is. I have read a few people complaining that Danny gave the v. 0.370, which means he really needs to update his template. I started out with v.0.370 too, but attached the zip for 0.385 in a service ticket, asking him to update my backend uTorrent appropriately too, and pointing out that it shouldn't be a problem since he advertised RSS support in the first place. Definitely one of the main thing that sucks about the uT WebUI is that the person who has taken over the project is keeping up with the current releases of uT too, and they suck, are bloated and buggy, with many trackers not supporting uT 3+

    Speed of GUI : 5/10
I don't know how can you even tell when it does so little in the first place?

    Package & Price
2GB DDR3- I assume this is for the entire HDD? not just my slice of it?
100GB SATA II-as I mentioned before, i am pretty sure this is 100GB of alloted space on a larger HDD
    Unlimited Bandwidth
    Dedicated IP
HTTP Access-didn't ever have it on my first box, finally acquired access with my second one, and it appeared to list the torrents in every seedbox on either the machine or HDD my box was on, except mine
RSS Feed's Supported- RSS feed is not supported using the WebUI v0.370' which is what he gives you originally. You have to request the WebUI update for RSS capabilities
Free "Instant" Setup- (HAHAHAHAHA!) if by instant you mean 3 days, then yes
Price: €5.99/mo (approx. $8 USD/mo.)- cheap cheap, but you get what you pay for

    Overall rating : 2/10
This was my first seedbox. If anything it taught me a lot about work arounds and what I don't want in a box. If Danny spent half the time he seems to spend in forums defending himself and his company actually answering service tickets, who knows, maybe it wouldn't be so bad

hehe, I think I have finally run out of things to say..................
