Their prices are great. $35 for 750gb (Seed750), automated setup, but that's about it.
I talked to a sales guy named Eric on their Live Support. Turns out they put 8 users on a core2duo w/2gb ram and 4 1.5tb drives from OVH with 2 users to a harddrive. When I started asking questions about the other users on the server, asking if all the users were Seed750 customers (8 users and 4 1.5tb drives would suggest that) this Eric guy started getting defensive, and told me to worry about myself and not the server or the people on it. This suggests to me that there's more than 8 users on the server.
After everything was setup, I jumped on the Live Support again to ask about setting up a watch directory since they don't give you ssh access (or else I would have just edited the rtorrent config file myself). Eric told me that there is a setting in the rutorrent preferences to set a watch directory. So I set the directory, uploaded torrent files to it, and nothing happened. So I asked Eric why the settings weren't working, he told me he didn't know and to open a support ticket for the tech guys. So I did. A week passed with no response, so I posted a reply in the ticket, "It's been a week and still no replies? Come on guys, I didn't pay for this service so you could ignore a simple request like a watch directory being fixed." I got a reply, from Eric...he told me that he didn't know why it wasn't working, and that they don't make the rutorrent software, they know nothing about it, and that they don't advertise a watch directory as part of their service. Six days later Eric posts another reply in the ticket stating that I have to create a directory inside the watch directory and upload my torrents there, and it should work. It didn't, but I didn't bother replying.
It's an obvious one man show from some punk who doesn't even know how to run his own service. Their website is hosted in Germany with their servers at OVH and Soft layer. Seed Unlimited's Live Support has also been offline since I posted something similar to this at one of the torrent blogs, which did a review of new seedbox providers.
Unless you like poor server performance and horrible support from a shady provider, stay away.
