    Default Fastest FTP client?

Alright I was just trying SmartFTP but I was only getting about 120kb/s. Are there any faster FTP clients?
    Thanks!

I'm using CuteFTP but imo, they are all the same if comes down to transfer speed. It rather depends on your connection upload speed and the server connection. Normally i use ssh to do most of the work, only FTP if there's no other choice.

I've been using filezilla. Its been pretty good but I think my ISP is throttling my FTP speeds during the day.

lol w/e the ftp client is, you cant go above your internet line limit. you may go to the full upload speed by setting high number of uploading segments, and this you can change in any of the ftp client.

I know that some servers have a speed limit for ftp transfers so that's why you're getting slow speeds.

Yeah I got SmartFTP and for some reason I feel as my connection is maxed at 120kb/s :S
I'm supposed to get 3MB DL and 700KB/s UP. I used to be able to DL 300kb/s no prob.
Now 120kb/s? Wow! I need a new ISP...Bell's just ripping me off, specially for almost $50 a month.

Same here. Bell has 60GB limit.

Are you having their 16Mbps line? Fibre Optic? or ADSL2+?
