    hello
i would like to ask a question about the seedbox.
if i download some data in the seedbox then i want to have it in my computer.i know that i have to use the FTP to redownload it to my pc,and i want to know about the speed of downloading by using the FTP , is it the same speed of the seedbox or it's just my computer one? and is it the same thing for the upload by ftp ?

Well some seedboxes allow you to download via Http also, but that is beside the point you are asking. FTP speeds will be based on a few factors, how far you are from the server, your internet plan, and the seedbox setup itself. My seedbox subscription just went out and it was located in germany while I live in the US. With my 12 meg internet subscription I would get about 1.5 Megabytes/s when downloading.
I personally have never uploaded via FTP but It would go considerably slower than your download.

    thank you for you reply
so seedbox is not a big deal for me, only help with rising the ratio, because things i download i need to store them on my externe HDD.
so if you download something using seedbox it stays on it and if you want to have it in your computer then you will have to do it again with your normal internet speed.
and by the way the thing you said about your internet speed , it's normal if you download by 1.5Mega-byte/s so you got 100% of your connection
because your internet subscription 12mbps wich means 12Mega-bit/s.
    1 Bit = 8 X byte

I used my seedbox for one month to just buffer my ratio. Also, you are correct anything you download to the seedbox will stay on their and continue to download/upload 24 hours/day 7 days a week.

    A usefull tip:

For those who have a limited bandwith tranfer, seedboxes is your friend ! Because you only have to download to your home. If you use the torrent to download , for sure you will have to upload too , generating "double" of the expected traffic. (maybe more because the the protocols "handshaking")

I have a limited bandwith traffic / month.
After i reach a amount , my speed is lowered.
So for me it´s better only download from my seedbox instead download/upload on my home torrent client.

And of course other benefits like..
    - my seedbox uploading is 5x better than mine (for those who have a different download/upload speed on your ISP)
    - 24/7 turned on etc..
    Thnx for Rellik and Forbidden
    Two good souls !

Regarding your concerns about slow download to your home pc
when i download through torrents i get 2-3 mbps max
however fto download from my seedbox is 8-10 mpbs as you dont have to rely on peers and seeders for your data tranfer rate
you get the maximum out of your connection with your ftp
    hope it helps
