    I know that but, with a reverse shell, I still only get user-level access. Root is required to install properly (rtorrent requires various libs to be placed in areas... it's not really portable)



    As to reverse shell, is the Netcat approach the best?

    Well first you will need a shell to run any type of exploit and yes netcat is the best approach.

    You are right about seedboxes been used for illegal activities but it stays hidden, if the server admin identifies you he can sue you for this. Remember your torrent based activities are recorded too.

    nothing overly amazing or expensive... just your basic seedbox to get ratios up :)
