Thread: Xirvik Seedbox Settings ?

Hi,

I just got a Xirvik seedbox.. their "Semidedi Large" package. Now i have used a seedbox before so i know certain very basic things about a seedbox. My problem right now is that i am not getting good upload speeds... Even if i am downloading a file which has like 1 seeder and 50 leecher, still the upload speed does cross 600KB... Can anyone tell me that is it normal do i need to tweak certain setting in order to get my maximum upload speed.

P.S: if i am running 7 files, then the combined upload speed does hit 2MB but 1 files doesnt cross 1MB barrier.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last time I was on Xirvik, I was unable to change the settings and support their really was not willing to change them. Also, where is your server located? Mine was in America and the speeds were similar to yours.

i dont know where to check where my server is located... i think i should tell them to change the location as the speed are pretty pathetic....
i used to get better speeds at santrex for that matter and from what i had read here at TI, i though xirvik was supposed to be the best out there.
