    Default Buyer Beware - Superseeder.eu

    I signed up for the 165GB - 1Gbps plan as the price for what they offered seemed reasonable. After 4 days of no updates I was finally able to track down an admin on IRC who let me know they needed more people to signup before they would start the box.

    I got sick of waiting and Xirvik came out with the new unmetered offer so I decided to cancel my order with them. I opened up a support ticket on their site to get my payment refunded.

    Logged in today to find my support ticket and my payment are gone from the site but no refund has been issued to my paypal account.

    Jumped on IRC and was told by someone that there paypal account has been blocked and they are in the process of getting it sorted out.





    What do you think...? Should I give them the benefit of the doubt and wait a few days to see if it sorts itself out or should I start a payment dispute with paypal right now?

    I would not wait, I would initiate the dispute ASAP. The longer you wait, the greater chance of problems getting your money back.

    I'm pretty sure if you file a dispute, they'll tell you to contact the seller and/or wait. I mean hell yes, file a dispute, but i'm gonna say wait 2 days instead of what they suggest being 2 weeks. I hope you get your money back, i've been there.

    Opening a dispute asap should be the best. Strange that they dont answer to your ticket. Mine got answered really fast.
    and well I´m with SuperSeeder.eu and never had any big issues and got my gbit within 15minutes after payment. After reading this I should look for a better reseller next month...

    Patience paid off for me...

    I decided I was going to give them until tomorrow night (when my new Xirvik box gets delivered) to contact me and/or issue a refund.

    I have been issued a refund from them and am glad to be moving on.

    Would you have opened a paypal dispute, it wouldn't have changed anything.
    Transactions concerning SERVICES aren't eligible to Paypal Protection program !
    For you to have a chance to get your money refunded by Paypal, you have to buy something material : an object.

    Paypal doesn't cover services, like in this case server leasing : it is immaterial.

    I learned it the hard way by getting scammed by a pretended seedbox provider who never delivered the box, never answered any of my mails.

    During the paypal dispute, he simply said : " services no tracking number " !!

    Anyway, i'm glad you got your money back, good for you :)
