    Default Digicube

UPDATE: Digicube had decided to raise their prices their 1Gb seedbox speed is laughable and also I have found out that Celeron 220s are in fact better than atoms with hyperthreading so just go with ovh imo, I am going with ovh at the end of my 6 month contract.

In my long search for the cheapest dedicated servers I found this host:

    Digicube - Serveur dedie a 15 €/mois, 1Go ram, HD 80Go, CPU 1,6Ghz et debit 100Mbit/sec illimité

They offer servers for €15, €25 & € 35, all customizable. I personally went for the €15 and added an extra gig of ram for an extra €5. They accept people from all countries.

    €15:
    CPU : Intel Atom 230 @ 1,6Ghz + Hyper-Threading
    Memory : 1GB DDRII
Hard Disk : SATA II 80 GB
    Connection : 100Mb/s Unlimited

    €25:
    CPU : Intel Atom 330 dual core @ 1,6Ghz + Hyper-Threading
    Memory : 2GB DDRII
Hard Disk : SATA II 160 GB
    Connection : 100Mb/s Unlimited

    €35+:
CPU : Up to AMD Phenom II X4
Memory : Up to 8GB DDRII
Hard Disk : Up to SATAII 4X 1TB
    Connection : 1Gb/s Unlimited

    Enjoy!

I tried the plans at 25 and 35 EUR a couple of months ago.
For the 25 EUR plan, the perfs were good not as good as OVH but honest, i reached 7 Mb in upload.

Forget the 35 EUR plan, you have not 1Gb at all, you have the same connection that the 25 EUR plan meaning 100 Mbit/s.

The most important is you can't subscribe just for one month, minimum is 3 Month if you pay by wire transfer and 6 months with paypal or CC.

My advice is forget about it, the support is laughable

Well so far I prefer them to OVH I have a better CPU for the same cost, without setup fees, OVH is 1 year min for no fee, this is 3 months, tbh it's all about what you prefer I run game servers off it so I need CPU.

Be careful Moo, seems that the traffic is limited on digicube offers.
    Verify this point before ordering.
I have a quick look on their forum (french), and some guys post that torrenting is not allowed on digicube servers.

Well I've ordered, I get good speeds, especially on large downloads, sometimes they drop but I don't mind as the trackers I use are so hard to seed on that when seeding 80GB worth of files the max I use is 1MB/s.

For instance I currently transferring a 7GB file from my old server at 10.8MB/s

I love it the chance of them finding out about my torrents is low, it's not as if they have access to the server.

    Hi Moo,
Did you check the point I've mention in a previous post ?
Do you have the General Terms of Sale ? I have only the french version, but they mention clearly that the server cannot be used for downloading purposes (chapter 5.6).

Yer it seems that using more than one tera bit per week could be considered "remote loading".

OVH has a similar clause at 5.2 I think it's a matter of not getting caught.
