Even if this is a 10Gbit connection doesn't OVH down the speed of your server after so many terabytes? I read somewhere in a fine print depending on what server you had purchased your connection speed would be degraded 10x if you went over 2-10 TB depending on which server plan. I imagine with 10 people trying to maximize the potential of this server it must of been chaotic.
Well, all the new 2010 servers are bound to traffic limits, in the case of the Best Of Gbit Server it's 10 TB per month, if you go over it you have to either buy new traffic or u'll get limited down to 10 mbit for the rest of the month.
Of course 10 TB might be not enough, but if you got a thing running with friends it's no problem... especially if most of them are got access to sites and/or good ratios already :)
But yeah, you are kinda right, if they weren't my friends I'd rather go for a 100 mbit box alone or with 1-2 good friends instead of a gbit one.
