Thread: Seedbox.me reviews?

I've been persuaded into getting a seedbox by this site. I've never used one before and never really heard of one before this. I've looked through the forums and saw a few recommendations for seedbox.me but none of them had accompanying reviews. Any review of this site would be greatly appreciated as I do not wish to see my hard earned cash from Kmart go to waste. Thanks!!



Any other incite and tips for a first time seedbox prospector is very welcome

I haven't personally used a seedbox.me box for any extended period of time, but my room mate does use one. It is okay in terms of speed, but for the price, there are a lot better options out there. One that I have heard great things about are the Xirvik boxes. You may want to check them out instead of going for the seedbox.me ones. When comparing speed, price, and total memory, the value of Xirvik trumps that of seedbox.me. Also, take a look around the seedbox threads, as there are quite a few good reviews for others.

I've used them before, and wasn't impressed. My ftp speed was poor, torrent speed so so, but the worst part of them is that by default you will only seed to 5.0 ratio then the torrent will stop and you have to reset it if you want to seed longer.

Aright thanks guys. I'll keep looking around here. What are the most important stats when looking at these. Speed obviously but what else makes one site stand out above the rest?

You want to find one that has a lot of memory as well, and one that doesn't limit the number of active torrents. It would really suck to have a limit of 3 or so, like seedbox.me does with their lesser plans, because you have to constantly remove/add torrents.

Yea that would definitely be nice but all of the no limit ones I've seen so far are pricey. I'm thinking below 20/month for sure. I'm probably going to try a Xirvik box for a week to see what it's all like and get used to it all. Do some more research and go from there. Thanks iWaffle for the help.
