Thread: How big of a seedbox setup do I need?

So , I'm managing all my tracker accts well on my connect.

However I have already felt how hard it is to see some of the better trackers like waffles. A whole week of seeding has netted me 300mb while I do have a 30.00 ratio :P I would like to start downing someday



So .... my questing is what would I need seedbox wise to Seed in the likes of Waffles, ScT, BCG ?
Im not a rich man so any cheap or atleast affordable ideas would be appreciated.

Ive been looking into getting something myself, so on one hand i cant give you first hand advice i can let you know what ive seen so far.

Mostly it depends on what tracker you wanna use it for,eg
Waffles:Here the disk space wont matter too much,but the no. of active torrents at a time will,so you would need a box that can handle unlimited torrents.
For ScT:Its got packs,as you very well know,so you must be wanting a decent disk space in this one,unlike waffles.
I d advice you to go for Xivik,its cheap enough,got good peeps in support and have good speeds.They've got weekly seedboxes for trail too so you can always change it if you are unsatisfied with them,although I see no reason for that :001_smile:

It really comes down to what trackers and what content you'll be downloading. When I went looking for my first seedbox, I thought it was crazy to get one w/ 500GB of HD space. Now that I've joined a couple HD trackers though, 500GB of space is nothing lol.

It really just comes down to what content you will mostly be downloading. That will pretty much determine how much space you'll need.

For seeding music trackers your biggest concern is whether or not you're limited in the number of torrents you have. You've got to get a box that allows unlimited torrents, anything else just isn't a viable option for music.
