Sorry bro I dont want to spam on your thread
    but
    HERE
works, even being a few years old, it is the still the same script... I Installed it afew weeks ago but I hated OVH, If you have already signed up for OVH its great, if you havn't signed OVH then its its just public opinion, like COD vs BF.....
OVH still provide a great storage server, but they are a crap seedbox server....
It depends what you want, but if you have a OVH server Coppers tut works first pop, just follow it to a tee and you wont have a problem....

No, I didn't sign up for OVH. Could you please make better recommendations? I would really appreciate it.

Hi muppet. When you see this thread and when you reply again. Could you please make better recommendations for a dedicated server in the price range of $20-$39?

OVH is pretty good once you manage your service and seedbox. Quite frankly, for their prices, hard to get better service.
You're right. I'm going to give OVH a try next week, well next month cuz Monday is the 1st so later that week when I get some money. I have a pre-paid Visa card but it has to have money on it to buy something. Either on the cent or more then the purchase otherwise the payment would be declined. I'll get it next week.

You can go with ubuntu server as it's user friendly. I went with debian myself as I had set it up on the same OS before. Yes, you can access the seedbox via your browser, the script outputs all urls for the various features when setup.

Also, you can change your OS via the OVH manager if you want to try another.
Hi Bltzed! The reason why I was asking if I could do this on 32-bit instead of 64-bit is because my PC does not have the hardware such as the CPU to support 64-bit. That means my computer is only 32-bit. Lets say I try to install the 64-bit on a 32-bit host in VirtualBox. I am going to get something like I have an i686 CPU which is correct.

Well, the server OS doesn't really have much to do with your PC's architecture. The OVH servers should have 64bit capable processors. To connect to it via VNC is basically like accessing a website per say, your computer is only used to load the connection.

So, what your saying is this? I could have the 32-bit version of Ubuntu 12.04 server in VirtualBox and run the automated script and also for the KS1 server is order the Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit OS of raw distribution?

Why do you need virtualbox though?

VirtualBox would be for ubuntu server. I don't have Linux on my computer and don't want to put it on my hard drive. I have windows and not Linux so that's what VirtualBox is used for.

You don't need linux to use the server however. You use ssh to install on the server, then you can use something like freenx to connect to the desktop of the server

I didn't know that. I don't know how to do any of that.

Could you please point me to tutorials for exactly what I would need to do? I don't deal with SSH on my windows and I don't know about that freenx to connect to the server. It would honestly help me a lot if I had tutorials.

Would be a good start to read this:

    A Beginner's Guide to SSH | Other Tutorials | Gamexe.net

I've not installed freenx in quite a while to be honest, can't remember how to go about doing it, found this however:

FreeNX Server and Client Configuration in Debian

    not freenx, but still VNC:

Thank you so much!! I'll read them. So use debian in VirtualBox and not ubuntu server?
