Your seedbox looks good to me. U can only upload as fast as the swarm. Those connections u have might not be behind a seedbox or a server like yourself. U have to take that into account. You also have to remember you are on a shared server with 7 other users. I dont know how much u paid for this so i cant say u got ripped off or anything, but what your seeing is normal for a shared server. U got what u paid for.



You still have a global 1mbps upload speed, which is good for your plan. U need to test your speed with something other then torrents. U cant rely on torrents for your speed cause its all about the swarm. If your gonna contact them about this u should ask them if they have any dedi seedbox's and try and switch over to that.

Thank you for your reply...Since this is my first seedbox, I did not know what I SHOULD expect so the only thing I can go on is what I can test.....
on a few of the torrents, I am able to get over 1MB/S each, IF I stop about half of my torrents, that's why I think/thought it was a bit slow. If you say this is what I should expect, then I guess I need to switch to a different seedbox as in the sponsor thread, he states that there are 4-5 people on each server, I have 9 on my server including me.....Maybe that is the culprit, I need a different server that has less people sharing....

No problem and i remember my first box experience so i understand. Yes 9 users are a lot for a server. Plus if the specs of the server are not good then it could make it even worse. 9 users are more then likely why u are experiencing slow speeds when u have all your torrents running.

However your speeds are not terrible. Keep testing with more torrents with good swarms to see what happens. Then u should be able to get a average figure out of it. I can tell u now though, dont expect much more then what your getting cause of the 10 users sharing the server. This may be the most u'll get. Its not a bad speed though for what u got. In the future look for a dedi box or a box with 2-3 shared users with great server specs.

I can help u with your utorrent settings, but u need to tell me the server specs & OS. Do u know them off hand? How much memory are u sharing amongst each other? It will help me set your utorrent cache right so you dont get disk overload and pull everything u can out of the server. Let me know if u can.

I'm a total noob when it comes to *nx boxes, is there a way I can find out?
I have remote desktop and I think something called Wine (LOL) and Ubuntu.

Wine is what runs utorrent on ubuntu cause its a windowss program. Connect to your box with whatever remote connection u use. Then bring up a terminal and type Top. Tell me the results. Then type df -h and tell me the results.
