If it's going to be a long time seeding and you don't want shared speeds, then get the dedicated. :) But if you want fast buffering, 1 Gbps shared will do. :)Originally Posted by dysrhythmic
I'd go with the 1 Gbps shared. If there's not too many users, you'll nearly always get better upload speeds. Plus, fast buffering is crucial to me, that's why I prefer a fast box.
I have used both and currently have and prefer having a Kimsufi 100MB dedicated. Amazing for long term seeding, great value for money and you always know what you are getting when it comes to resources etc.
And you can manage everything you want, I'm sure that's also a plus - customization. Although my host lets me use any client with any plugins 'cos I have root access and it's shared.
