Thread: Anonymous Payments for USA Residents

I want to get a seedbox, but would like to keep the payment to the seedbox anonymous. I was unable to find any definitive answers from other forum post. It seems that Amazon payments combined with American Express cash card was the only possible solution, but would require that I setup another email address and amazon account.



Can any of you fellow US residents comment on how you pay overseas seedbox services? What do you use for credit cards, email domain, VPN, etc. to stay anonymous?

I think one of the only feasible options for you to take in this case would be buying prepaid VISA cards from grocery and convenience stores with cash and using those to pay for payments. This process is just a big pain in the ass though... I'd recommend going with a provider like OVH that won't snoop on your files or charge you for anything related to the files on your server. Up to you, though-- I respect your concern for security.

Some seedbox providers offer bitcoins as payment, which is pretty anonymous.

Bank -> Dwolla -> MT.GOX -> my BTC address -> Box Provider

How are you planning to get files from seedbox to computer?

Download them like everyone else... sftp with Filezilla.

I say use prepaid visa cards (vanilla visa's work best)
