Anyways thanks for the Kimsufi suggestion guys. I think this is looking to be the best choice.
    Thanks for answering.

There's more than one reason, but the main reason I ask is that I'm on Feral with a Neon-3 and I'm rather happy with the seedbox. I was wondering what was wrong with it... wondering what problems I could expect ;)

It expires in a little under a month, so I was considering my options and your specs is about what I'm looking for... but for a cheaper price tag ;)

Well if you check the feral review thread around here, you can see many people are having problems connecting to peers. It is hard to truly judge it based on the particular torrents on my box, but there are a few torrents that I am a bit suspect of but given the seed and leech count, it is hard to say for certain weather or not I should be connected to more peers.

The real problem with Feral is Joshua. He is a hypocrite, a liar, and unprofessional. One time the HDD for my slot crashed. I sat by for a week with out complaining once. Then after a week, I requested to be moved to a another slot and I would sacrifice my data(since he was unsure if it would be salvageable or not). At the time Feral just started selling the plans you see listed and a lot of existing customers jumped on the new servers so there was no shortage of available slots on the old servers. After 24 or 48 hours of no response to the ticket I jumped on IRC, and sure enough Joshua was on. Again, I asked Joshua to move me to a another slot. I got 2 excuses from him. One excuse was it would screw up the system. When asked to elaborate, he wouldn't. Sounds like that was a bs excuse to me. He also claimed "you been offline a week, a few more days won't matter." Recently I got bumped from the old server to a Neon-3/New server. I knew it was coming sooner or later but when the time came, I was only given a 15 minute notice. This week I had a ticket go ignored for a week despite trying to bump it periodically(24-48 hours). I opened a new ticket, and given my frustration of being ignored and general disdain for Joshua, it included a nice little rant. Now I don't recall exactly how the conversation went, but here are some highlights. Joshua refunded my recent payment for to renew my slot this coming Monday. Twice he said that if I had been treated unprofessionally by any member of the staff, to please email something@feral and "when things die down in a few weeks, we can talk about how to better serve you." Twice I told him that I had documented these issues in tickets numerous times and it did me no good. Twice I asked will he be reviewing the email personally and can he be objective? Twice I asked him how he was going to "better serve me" if he refuses to accept me as a client. Each time he responded, he dodged those questions despite that the my follow up replies were done in a professional manner. So he claims to want to better serve me but refuses to answer reasonable questions asked in a professional manner, and refuses to have me as a client after 2+ years of paying on time 99.9% of the time. Honestly, if I were to document every time I got an unwarranted, unprofessional response from Joshua, this post would turn in to an all out several paragraph essay. The only reason I stuck with Feral for so long, was I was to lazy to look for a completive alternative. That and the few times I tried googleing for an alternative, I found nothing competitive.

Yep, like I said, looking to pick up two of the Semi slots. Does any one know roughly what time frame the owner tends to be at his desk? Does he usually work weekends? Does he allow public trackers and shell access?

Wow... After hearing that, I cannot say that I blame you for looking at moving on. It's making me sound that I'm lucky that I haven't had any real issues so far.... well just one issue which never really got resolved "Yeah that happens" was about the response I got from me asking why rTorrent always seems to crash on the new server.

From what you say he sounds like a dodgy used car salesman.

After hearing stories like this, I so feel tempted to putting together a seedbox company, but I think there are more than enough alternatives already out there.

Wonder if Joshua is the same guy from Biohosts. Been waiting >1 week, during which 5 tickets and multiple e-mails sent, with only 1 snarky response when I informed him that he has been reported to the payment processor. Recommend to stay away!!

SeedRoots is AMAZING. Immediate activation, and immediate responses to a question I had. High recommended.

SeedRoots doesn't offer Transmission or Deluge, nor any of the other requirements of the thread starter....

Check out DTSLeech.com - Inexpensive Server And Seedbox Solutions, both shared and base model dedicated servers fit into your budget and Deluge is available, as well as your other requirements.

Says who? He installed Deluge for me on a 2G and again when I upgraded to a 16G and he installed Transmission. He also installed rutorrent on both boxes for some reason even though I didnt ask for it.

Based on his advertised information he only offers ruTorrent stock on the boxes, hence the comment. Nor does he advertise SOCKS proxy installation. Hence my comment that he doesnt offer what you were requesting.

He will install anything you want with in reason, and SOCKS Proxies do not require server side config I dont believe. Just shell access. Plus he offers the same server as a "DTM" aka 16G for $60, $10 cheaper.
