Thread: First xirvik review

Ok first of all thanks to TI and Xirvik for this great offer to community members.
I was lucky to be one of the first people to get access.
Heres the update : My database has crashed and i cannot upload any torrents or stop seeding.
This will be a test for the xirvik team support to see how fast they respond and solve the problem. I have added them on msn but they are currently offline.
Things were going good for the first hour after which i uploaded the fifth torrent.
Maybe its a random technical snag but the other shared user (probably KingNothing) on this seedbox is having a blast since he does not have the same issue and i can see that the server stats are increasing while mine have stopped at 6 gigs.
First of all the Xirvik website is very informative unlike the other seedbox websites and they have provided user guides for seedbox n00bs like me.
As soon as i got the pm it took me less than 10 mins to start off my session. I had been given 5 active torrents limit plus 50 gigs of space.
During my active session my dl speeds peaked at 8mb dn and 3 mb up.
Atleast i got rid of my wait time at my new RevTT accnt :laugh:.
While getting file through the FTP client CuteFTP it made the most of my home connection. I have no doubts about the speed but i would like to see the response time from their support.
Overall this looks like a great deal they are providing at this price point.
10 $ a week for 10 active torrents + 75 gigs sounds good enough for me.
I will notify here when i do get a message from support.

I have had a mostly positive experience, only issue was when I changed plans... they never changed my storage or active torrent limit. Got a hold of them via google talk and they got me going in a few minutes.

this company is great ..so far never had a problem and they do everything so fast..bottom line..great service for the money..

i also got a dedi from them a month back,
completely hassle free.

Thanks for the review, i think i will move to xirvik after my current one finishes

I've never used Xirvik before, but I've read very good things about them.
