Please help me find my perfect seedbox!!!!
Hi everyone,
If you are a provider or user of a seedbox, your help is needed. I need a seedbox that is in the 20-25$ range.
Here is what else is on my wishlist:
1gb/s
at least 150gb of storage
at least 5tb of upload traffic and unlimited down
ssh access (root)
some sort of encrypted downloading available (such as SFTP or FTPS)
good customer service

I don't think you'll find a seedbox specific company that takes Amazon payment. Have you tried Amazon's EC2? They may take Amazon credit as payment, but I've not tried. There are a few tutorials out there on making an EC2 based seedbox. It'll take a good deal of setup, but you can start / stop the server based on your budget -- you only pay for what you use.
Let me know if that worked for you / what your experience is.

You are going to need to be willing sacrifice several things here to find something in your price range.
In all of these sacrifice options you aren't going to get root access, thats just how it is. No provider gives root access on a shared box, and your budget doesnt fit Dedicated servers.
Option 1: 1Gbps, Less disk space, less Bandwidth.
Option 2: 100Mbps, More disk space, less bandwidth.
Option 3: Increase budget a few dollars and get a dedicated server which will allow root access and meet all (Except it would be 100Mbps) your needs.

Maybe this can help you. Last time i get connected to demonoid tracker irc help channel. Some guys where selling seedbox wfor 30 bucks with big hard drive and a lot of bandwith. Maybe you can have a look their. i can send you his irc nick name by mp if you want to investigate.

Yes we offer root, and yes the FTP and HHTP downloads are encrypted.
