Thread: question for kimsufi users

How are you getting your files from your kimsufi seedboxes?

I am currently using SSH to transfer the files and I am frequently getting corruption.

I was thinking of just installing ftp but then the files will not be encrypted. Maybe I am just being paranoid.

I suppose I could install FTP over SSL but that seems like it will be a pain.

So anyway, I was wondering how everyone else does it?

I use SFTP and I've never had file corruption, I also occasionally use the rutorrent fileshare plugin if i'm getting single files.

Do you stop seeding before you download it?

No, i never stop seeding to download anything.

No problems here.. Using SFTP via CuteFTP and never stop seeding.

same here, use sftp and filezilla and don't stop seeding. Have also used ftp rush too without an issue I must say though that my speeds to home from ovh are not as good as those from my slot with whatbox but can live with it.

I use the download plugin for single files (under 300 meg) and secure FTP for everything else.
I love the servers and have been setting a bunch of them up for people for the past 4 months.

You should try out SFTP, that should be a better alternative than using SSH only.
