Default Free server setups for awhile :)

Dont really know if it has been done before, but Im sure it has. I am willing to setup some of you alls servers for free. I just enjoy doing it that much I suppose. If this is not allowed here at T-I, then I appologize and this can be removed. If it is on the other hand then...

    Requirements:

-You already have the server rented with root and pass emailed to you
-You need to be willing to give the root and pass to me.
-You need to be aware that the system will have Ubuntu set up on it (Most likely Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64)
-You should know the setup is for your home computer to have Windows XP - Windows 7 on it.
-Be aware it will take a couple hours most likely
-Be willing to install the Programs: Putty, Firefox, MyEnTunnel, and an FTP client.

I will say that I have put a tutorial up, and you are more than welcome to use it. It is pretty easy with all the directions in front of you...

Ubuntu Server w/ GUI, Permenant Auto Connecting SSH Tunnel, Fail2Ban, etc....

But if not, then I am just offering to help. After the setup I would of course send you info on how to login, and how to change your passwords for the OS, HTTPS, etc... And of course you could always just do a remote reninstall if you decided you didnt trust me setting it up, and Id be locked out. I dont even know how this will go on T-I, but I remember how frustrating it was my first couple go arounds with Linux. :)

I was dumb and couldn't follow the guide that Deathrage had put up. So being the awesome guy that he is, he help me setup everything. I couldn't be more happy with everything he has done! I have my seedbox and I can even remote into a ubuntu desktop! Thanks so much for everything!

Deathrage, I am considering getting a kimsufi 2g, but havent really messed around with linux much. If i do get it, are you still able to help out? I just recently paid for another month on whatbox, so i might wait a couple of weeks before getting the kimsufi. The other issue i had, was is there a link which has info on which kimsufi 2g to purchase? There seems to be a lot of choice in the OS selection stage of the sign up form. I am not sure which OS to pick and what the prices are, some seem to be exorbitantly expensive.
