I have a old OVH unmetered SP series server up for grabs.

Specs are:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
4GB DDR2 Memory
2 x 750GB HDD.
Fully unmetered trafic.

For: £50 a month.
kimi 16G but with 1Gbit port which I'm willing to rent out (Same again, no need for it at the moment, but dont really want to let it go, due to the gbit port on it)

I'm new here and consider ordering a seedbox. Actually, I'm not a big downloader and I'd prefer share a small seedbox than buy one by myself and only use the half of it.
Anybody in the same situation would be interrested ?

You might struggle to find someone to share there seedbox with you. Not many will want to share the same webui with someone, Its a security risk as it gives both users access to each others passkeys for which ever sites they download from.

Seedstuff.ca do a dirt cheap (Garbage) box. Its only $2 or so a month. Might (will not) be the best box in the world, but for that price anyone can afford it.

Ho, thank you for your answer. Even if I'm a trustable guy (despite my nickname :)) I thought it was possible to create some kind of account, even if not administrator but just user with some right. Thanks for the address. I'll maybe try !

If you have a dedicated server then yes. You can make multiple accounts on it. But from your post I guessed you was meaning to share a shared seedbox.
As I said, there would need to be a trust thing going on. I would only do this with very close friends, not some random from a forum (No dis-respect there)

Well I understand. I'm not (yet) very familiar with the differences between shared/dedicated/seedbox permission. For now, I'm only doing torrent and ftp stuff...

Shared = Is normally one big server which has been split for any number of users, each with there own directories and torrent client. All resources are shared and you may or may not get SSH access (Programs can not normally be installed)

Dedicated = These are one server with one user (you) on it. You have full resources and normally will have root access to install your own programs if you wish todo so.

Seedbox = Is not really a type of server, but more a usage for a server.

VPS = These are big servers like the shared is, but each user is contained in there own environment, different OS's can be installed for each user. Resources can be limited to each user or shared still, depending on the provider and their setups. These will normally come with root access as you are contained from all other users, so extra programs can be installed.
