    Default Seedbox for public seeding

    As the title says,

Currently I'm using seed.st 100 gbit, awesome speed...never had any huge trouble

I need something like that (1 gbit at least) for public seeding
I know there are options but I'd love to hear views about it.

I know seed.st doesnt allow public trackers...

I've used xirvik, but not good enough for me. Even 10-20 MBps upload speed will do.

Not 'dangerous', not in Europe, and not in the US (unless SOPA passes). Current legislation means that ISP's are not responsible for their customer's behaviour. They will receive a DMCA notice and ask you to remove any offending material. If they get a lot of notices they will terminate your service, as you will have become more hassle than you are worth, but it is not really 'dangerous'. Of course many providers do not allow you to use public trackers, so make sure that you are on one that does not have that rule.

@Arakasi, you're right that most ISP's are not responsible for their customers yet in several countries in Europe there is already legislation in place that prohibits any citizen to download and/or upload copyrighted material. Best example is France where there is a 3-strike penalty. Holland prohibits uploading of certain materials and Belgium is looking into charging customers extra to fund prosecution of file-sharers.

That said, some countries take away the ISP and send warnings directly to the customer associated with the offending IP, after that was handed over by the ISP (weird sentence, I know).

What I was saying is that it is not dangerous for the ISP, but yes for an individual that dl/ul copyright material, they risk being disconnected by their ISP or being sued for copyright infringement if caught, and the risk of being caught is a lot higher if you use public trackers.

To mitigate the risk, you can use proxies and VPN's on public sites, just make sure you do not use them on private trackers, but if you are looking for 1Gbs box to seed to public trackers, you may find proxies and VPN's become a bottleneck for you.

    Russiia?

And yes, public seeding is banned by 99% of seedboxes. You should get a cheap dedi server if you want to public seed.
