Default difficult to choose a vendor

Seems like the list of seedbox vendors keeps growing and growing. The pricing also seems all over the place. An old thread here that I read referenced this spreadsheet:

    https://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?h...owsperpage=250

Someone took a lot of time to compile this information but it is now dated. Has anyone come across another resource like this? If not, is there any general advice people would like to share about how to pick a good vendor for the right price?

I've searched around for a list like that too, but haven't had any luck. As for choosing a seedbox, it depends of what you want; retention of torrents, or high upload speeds.

If you want retention of torrents (ie: seeding torrents for a long time), all you really have to do is choose a seedbox with a large HDD.

If you want speed, I wouldn't even bother with 100Mbit boxes. 1Gbit is the way to go, and Seed.ST has given me the best results by far. I was able to upload 1.5 TB in a week, and saw speeds of up to 76 mb/s both ways. However, they only offer 50 GB of space, and for some, it might not be enough. Even then, I was able to get 10+ ratio's on most of my torrents before I deleted them to make room.

Now I can't say I'm an expert since I've only used 3 different seedbox companies, but it seems pretty straight forward.

a geneal advice for both sort of boxes in terms of speed and otherwise

speed - seed.st is the one but remember u do not get root access there (but the boxes are good and legit).2nd draw back with them is the space they provide.
U will hit 1+ ratio on all new torrents u get on this box thats for sure.

Space with long term use boxes - Kimsufi is the best in my opinion as it gives 1tb with 5tb cap on traffic (extra tbs can be bought @ 89cents/tb) with 100mbps line speed.
at 21usd (if u in USA) and are my first preference.

Rest is upto you there are other companies but, i personally wouldn't go for them. Not a expert but kimi would be my first pick if u just starting up with seedboxes.
