Thread: Just want to point something out

I get asked on almost a daily basis "Omg you stole your product images from super seed.me.uk!" when the truth is they stole them and part of our design from us, here's the registration dates,

Our images for the torrentflux seedboxes had been made at the same time as our reseller and the hosting as you can see, same text and everything. Sadly I've lost contact with ol nick and I hope him the best in his life and such but I do still have the odd contact with the designer of the site Noc.V who actually is a pretty good musical artist and is quite skilled in web design :) if worst comes to worst I would sorta like to get a statement from him if people start saying I stole them from super and such, I'm just going to lay the facts out, This is sorta a joke to me whenever I hear it as it might be possible to get the old (gimp files, these were made in gimp nicks good ol gimp...) and if that's possible my lawyer possibly wants to go after super seed, we've contacted your host several times and after being told too bad well...hmm....

On this statement alone, I would in all honesty buy from the company that provides the best service and bang for buck...

On the rest of your story; tough luck someone seems to have copied over the website (and maybe other things) and that is something that should not go unpunished, imho...

well we've sent a final notice to servage and if they tell us too bad again my lawyers willing to take this to court, he has everything ready in order to get his home address and is just waiting to see if they make him take it down or not...I'm going to try to get ahold of Nick to make a statement cause he's the one that did the old ones and a new artist did the newer ones on the site.

What kind of FTP options do your seedboxes provide? Like Shock or Grass Box
I have heard several different things like only regular FTP and no SFTP or SSL with TLS, let alone any encryption.

We offer just our normal FTP with our hand coded encription which does not require sftp or ssh to work, your host should/will see it as your downloading "biohost.rar", We mainly got rid of SFTP SSH it caused people to complain about the slower speeds and there was really nothing we could do about it....Sadly though our last review does say we had amazing FTP speeds ;)

Why don't you just redesign your site and make it better?

If someone has the ability to copy what your doing, instead of complaining about it... do something that makes you on top again.
