Would you be interested in these seedboxes/VPS's?
Hey all,
I am preparing to introduce a seedbox and VPS service so was hoping I could get some feedback on what you guys think of these options and prices:
What do you think? Which would be the most attractive option to you? Are the prices reasonable, too cheap or too expensive? Are all the features you would like offered with these packages, and are there any other features you would like included?
Any advice, feedback and criticism is welcome!

In reference to your proposed seedbox plans:
- would suggest adding plans with higher HDD space
- are you going to offer 1Gbs network speeds?
- would add Transmission and Deluge to the list of webui options...give people more choice
- what RAM and CPU will be on your plans?
- how many users per server & HDD?
- is root access available?
- are plans renewed monthly?
Whether pricing is reasonable or not depends on some of the factors above
There are quite a number of seedbox providers out there so you need to differentiate yourself amongst the competiition. People do change providers quite often in order to find the "right" seedbox.

I would also suggest offering Deluge as well as rutorrent/rtorrent, because that's what most people want, even though it sucks with not enough resources and rtorrent performces better with slow speeds and a lot of active torrents.
The price on the 1TB VPS plan looks very reasonable, but I suspect it's from OVH, isn't it?
Especially in the higher price departement the choosing of the right Datacenter / Network is extremely important and the EvoSwitch Datacenter is known the have the best uploadspeeds and that's what most of the people look for.
Why don't you offer SolusVM / WHM as control panel, isn't that cheaper? It's also what most people are comfortable with.
I assume the virtualization plattform is OpenVZ so why do you have only dedicated memory, but no swap?
I maybe totally off and confused, because of Plesk.
I assume for the VPS plans it's 3 person per HDD on the Bronze, 2 on the Silver and 1 on the Gold plan?
How many people do you have on each server?

It is OVH. The issue with LeaseWeb is that their quad core and even dual cpu quad core servers only offer up to 8GB RAM and the HDD space is minimal as well. Whereas OVH offer 24GB of ram for the same price, and an abundance of HDD space. If I was to offer services from Leaseweb, they would have to be significantly more expensive.
The only reason I offered Plesk for the Gold plan was because I get free licenses with it. I can also offer SolusVM control panel if you think that would be more attractive to people :). There would be 4GB swap on the Bronze, 8GB swap on the Silver, and 16GB of swap space on an SSD drive for the Gold. That SSD swap space should really bring the timings down for the Gold plan.
It would be 4 person per HDD on Bronze, 2 on Silver and 2 on Gold. With port speeds of only 100Mbps on the first 2 the HDD shouldn't struggle at all. And the read/write speed for the HDD's on the 1Gbps server should just about be adequate to be able to use all of the bandwidth. All these plans have 4 people per server, with 1 core dedicated to each VPS. Is this reasonable?
