Thread: HDChina Download Issues with Seedbox

Hi all,

I'm new to the seedbox arena and am having issues with downloading from HDChina on my seedbox. The seedbox doesn't have a web interface, so I download the file and then upload to the seedbox, but it won't connect. The tracker refuses the connection.

Any ideas?



I'll be emailing HDChina support later tonight, I just thought that others might know a quick answer.

That must be it...I'm running 2.33 and the latest is 2.4. Bah, lame!

use http not using https
upload your torrent to your seedbox
then edit the tracker, delete the s after http

Or the tracker doesn't like you connecting from home to login and download torrent then try to leech from different IP. Had this problem with one other tracker unfortunately; resorted to installing a proxy on seedbox to be able to login & leech from same IP.

Looks like I've got several things I should check.

I've never had problems with downloading a .torrent from one location and then loading the .torrent onto a computer with a different IP. All trackers that I've used use the passkey method to tie the username to the tracker stats, and when using this method the IP's really don't matter.

I can confirm explicitly that hdchina does not have the limitation DutchRull described.

I would double check the whitelisted torrenting programs listed on hdchina's site and make sure your program and version is listed there. If that doesn't work then follow ForestAngels suggestion.

It seems as though HDChina.org does that as well, Oscarnater.

HDChina says they only allow the latest software, so that might be the issue. I currently use Feralhosting.com.
