Thread: Seedbox choice, help me!

Hi Guys!

Ive use two months whatbox, but i want some change, because whatbox is going slower, and get more weak.
Im searching for a nice seedbox with the following specifications:

1GB/ps Unmetered
Unlimited torrents
HDD Space, mwah everything is good, the more space, the better.
Client, i love Deluge! because rTorrent have soms problems with creating torrents.
SSH acces

I want spend about 40/50 dollars



Do you have some tips for me, or can you tell what do you have now for box at the moment?

Yes its nice, but its RuTorrent, do you have experience with it?

There are 2 entire sections on these forums, 1 for seedbox advertising, and 1 for user reviews. There are also about 50 threads in this discussion forum asking almost exactly the same question.

People are going to be more inclined, and better able to help you if you do at least a little research on your own.

Been running 8.6 and 8.9 ever since they came out; never had a problem with it... What do you like over Deluge that is not in rtorrent then?

The tool Create Torrent, There's nothing wrong with Rtorrent, but if you make a torrent above 10gig, the torrent is nuked, or incomplete.
And Deluge or Transmission dont have that. And thats very importent for me.

That is then based on a absurd install of the "make torrent" tool... Personally I use mktorrent for this and by manual compile from the shell, there are some switches to supply to either compile it for 32-bit or 64-bit machines. I have no trouble making large torrents for over a year now; largest was 300GB or so and the machine didn't even break into sweat.

So, if you are renting from a company now, ask them to check the compilation of the "make torrent", or supply more information about what lib they use for it or ask it to change/recompile for you.
