    Default Looking for a speedbox!

    Preferably 10GBPS, doesn't matter what the HDD space is. I basically want it to autodl all the scene releases, which is what ~15 other seedboxes are doing on 100mbps connections. So I can download the fastest then seed to them and get a step up.



    I was looking into seed.st (the 10GBPS plan), anyone else have any suggestions?

    If I were you and I had your $$$ then I would go direct, then split it up..

    That's a great server, but the problem is the bandwidth limit and the people that are willing to split such a server, including myself, upload easily 30TB+ / month alone.

    Yes that's another issue, and unmetred dedi's from OVH are very, very expensive. Guess I'll be buying a dedi by myself then! :p

    Hmm... I noticed that you wanted to spend about $100 on another thread.

    Then how about this... The server already has 30TB of bandwidth and additional TB can be purchased from OVH for £0.89 each so you could buy another 90TB and split the box into 4 and you would still have 30TB bandwidth but it would fit in your budget... Even if you split into 6 you would still have 1TB of hard drive space! If you did it this way you would only pay for the bandwidth you used as well..

    That would work, however it's just finding three other people to split with. Not everyone wants do do such a thing.

    seed.st dont have the autodl irrsi feature and theres no root as they aint dedi so theres is a nono as u cant have what u want m8

    I emailed the owner a couple days ago and autodl-irssi is coming soon but you do have the option to use the RSS feeds in rTorrent/whatever client you're using. However that doesn't really matter to me anymore because I'm just going to be buying a dedicated server.
