Setting up a new server at home to control my torrents, used deluge / rtorrent and transmission but this time i want to be able to add torrents and control them from anywhere via my android phone I'm wondering whats the best client for this and has anyone used transdroid or a program that can do this?

I am using TransDroid with rTorrent installed on my seedbox, it really works like a charm.

Unfortunately TransDroid does not support Deluge, but theres still the WebUI so you can access it from anywhere (including your phone) anyway. The only problem I had where when I tried to add new torrents to Deluge on my Android phone, it somehow wouldn't work... but I don't know if that is just me.

Anyway, rTorrent+ruTorrent > Deluge+WebUI ! (this is my personal opinion :P )

Wow it does? Seems like I have an old version of the app... last time I looked for it the developer only posted in his forum that he was working on Deluge support.

Anyway, rTorrent still beats Deluge :P
