Thread: close and start (restart) rtorrent?

hehe yes as a noob i am, how do i restart rtorrent?
Im using putty and signed in as root so what do i need to write?

/etc/init.d/rtorrent stop or start Or if your lucky your provider has it included in your home page :)

service rtorrent restart

this can be done from root or su.

same with what magpie wrote.
then i get rtorrent: unrecognized service
