Thread: 60-90$ seedbox 1gbit dedi 2tb available?

Currently have two seedboxed shared 4 425GB and 6-8 users 310GB and trying to rationalize things a bit paying 70$ a month



first one maxes out at 80MB/s download 35MB/s upload, second one 30MB/s down 8MB/s up...

Looking for 250MB/s up 1GBIT down (OVH) for around 90$ USD month 1 or 2 TB drive - don't need much TB traffic - 30-50TB/month is enough.

uhm... 250MB/s is 2Gbit/s...i dont think youll get anything in that pricerange with this much traffic at 2gbit. cheapest 2gbit you can get is probably evoboxes stream for 75gbp (120usd) but thats waaaay over your budget

holy shit haha, if you can find anything like that for 60-90 dollars, that'd be a miracle. for Dedicated, try and double to triple that price range.

The Cheapest 1gbit dedi you are going to find is at OVH, and its 109 euros (150$).

It has 2x2tb disks, a quad i5, and 24gb of ram. You could probably find a friend to split it in half. 75 bucks for everything you want.

Unless your also prepared to RAID 0 or 10 the drives don't expect to get anywhere near those speeds. Gotta remember that these days hard drives bottleneck way before connection speed is reached (1gbit and up). Don't blow the money unless you know you can get the speed :P
