Thread: Eu vs USA seedboxes?

Hello everyone..i was wondering, what is the best location, if even location matters, when building up buffers on lets say SCC,GFT,RevTT,TL...? Does it even matter, or is the line it is on more important ? im still a seedbox virgin, so please dont be too harsh on me :P

get one in EU. if youre living in the US, it might be slower for you, but you have an advantage there if youre going to autosnatch and build buffers. OVH and LW probably have most of the pirates out there. become one of them ;)

If you are a US resident, I wouldn't get a US based seedbox for legal reasons.

I haven't had a US based seedbox, but have had one in both Germany and France. Download speeds for well seeded torrents max out the 100Mbit down connection, and I've seen the upload speeds maxed as well.

I've read that FTP transfer is affected more by the quality of the links between countries, but I've always been able to max out my home connection (20Mbit down) using CuteFTP.

I'd suggest checking out Xirvik for your first box. It is more pricey than some of the offerings, but comes with everything installed and with great customer service.

but if im EU resident ? :) well then i guess more people have boxes in eu, so the speed would sure be better here right ? guess i`ll stick with the eu boxes :)

Definately EU.

You will get the advantages of the speeds to the other seedboxes and since you say your from the EU you will also get great speeds to your home connection.

i`ll take you up on that offer, and will check whats the best thing u have to offer..i cant afford top shit, but i can afford something for like 70-80$.. :) what about sharing it with another user,something even better,meaning 160$ for 2 of us ?..but since im EU and seedbox is EU, i would still have to be sure that im gonna max my home connection:) that is why i wondered whats best either eu or usa, and regarding buffering my account :)
