Thread: Australian Seedboxes

Hi T-I members, I'm currently pondering about upgrading my share ratio full time, by purchasing a seedbox. Unfortunately to maintain favorable speeds, its would be easier to have it based in australia, I can't seem to find any :(. Would anybody know of any australian based seedbox, companies.

If there isn't why the $%&# not? With the NBN rolling out, we still havn't taken advantage of this? Anyone interested in setting one up if thats the case.

there isnt even an australian DC that comes to mind... its just too closed off. you can see though which other DC gets you the fastest connection and choose accordingly?

problem is that IP prices in Australia are high, so this would be reflected in the seedbox pricing, making them uncompetitive.

i used tolive in Oz and I sympathize with you.

We're just too far away and bandwidth is just too crazy expensive~

We're getting national optic fibre though?

What speeds could you expect with that? And I'm assuming its alot you could still divvy up dedicated bandwidth for users and prices are reportedly starting at $65/mo but Im not sure what speeds you get for that.

it sucks we don't have any seed box providers in oz where already paying 135$ for our ISP
