Thread: Budget-ish Seedbox?

Hi, I'm looking for a new SeedBox, I'm currently using PulsedMedia starter plan (20Mb/70GB) which isn't half bad but I need more and their better packages are expensive (for me, at least).

What I'm looking for is as follows:

• Speed: 100 Mbps is more than adequate for my needs.
• Space: That's what I need the most, so 200+ GB.
• Bandwidth: Unmetered.
• Price: around the range of $20 (or €15) give-or-take.

If disk is you main driving factor, you might want to look at feralhosting.com, 10 GB Pounds for 333GB is a good deal (IMHO), Hosted in the Netherlands.

Same problem, FeralHosting is metered which makes it outta the question.

Actually, after I think about it, it's tempting (250 GB / $25), do you allow semi-public trackers (such as demonoid)?

Hi ,

Yes we allow semi-private trackers like demonoid but you will need to go with france location while choosing server as tracker is banned on our germany servers.

Thanks for the heads up, I still haven't decided yet but as it stands SeedMonster is at the top of my list :)

I have only used rTorrent before, what's the advantages of Transmission or Deluge?

On a 100mbps box on gamestuff, you will probably never reach the bandwidth limit. I never did. I used to upload around 5-6 TB a month.

Doubtful, using my current SeedBox which is 20Mbps I've uploaded over 1 TB and it hasn't even been a month. That's why I have no interest in metered plans.
