Thread: Seeboxing from a public computer to a private computer - HOW?

At my university, it is easy to see traffic coming in and out of personal ethernet connections in each of our rooms. However, there are also public computers that we can access. My question is, if I set up a seedbox, would I be able to download the torrent to it from the public computer, and then later download the completed file to my private computer through the ethernet in my room safely? In other words, if I set it up like this, would they be able to see torrent trafficking to my personal ethernet?

You can mask the traffic between your PC and the public one but they will still be able to see your bandwidth usage. If the university administration actively monitors the connections of their students, it won't take them long to realise that something suspicious is going on :)
