Thread: 100mb or 1gbit?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for my first seedbox(first time heard?). I got a doubt cuz I was looking what was worth if 1gb speed or 100mb?



Any preference ? ( I know reviews but that it's about the different options, that I have already read :D) But what is your preference 100mb or 1gbit?

of course 1gbit anytime :)
make sure you check how many users per hard disk before buying a seedbox package since the fewer, the faster speed will be.

yup that's the same like in 100mb less slot users better speed. ANY 1gbit seedpox recommendation, now that we are talking about less users better speed :)

shared 100mbit is getting obsolete... Go for a 1gbit shared server or 100mbit dedicated server

Thats why I'm looking for a good 1gbit option or a 100mb dedicated option...

I'll order a 1gbit line shared between two, today or tomorrow. I'll see how fast this is going to be. Do you think it's worth it?

it all depends on your needs...do you need to build ratio fast? Can you afford 1gigabit..? You can also get 10gigabit these days.

^^ Thats really what matter.

I built up 1.5 TB upload in a month or two on IPT with a shared 100 mbit, but i'm still not to 1 TB on any of my other trackers, so it really depends what you are using it on.

Try one out, see about a trial seedbox, or a seedbox from the seedbox giveaway section.

All the 10Gbits lines I have seen so far are shared between 10 or more users. It rather get a 1Gbit line shared between two people. (I know from the speed it's worse, technically). It always depends on how much you want to spend, I'm planning on having a 1Gbit box (shared between 2) for one or two months and then for the normal usage I'll probably get a 100mbit shared box. It's getting a little big pricey because I also have a VPS which I don't want to use as seedbox.
