Thread: Seedbox without issues?

A few months ago I was introduced to seedboxes, and well they seemed awesome and on the whole part they are. My question is, do I just have a lot of bad luck or does it seem hard to find a seedbox without somesort of issue.

My first seedbox used to constantly crash and their auto-restart script never worked.
My second seedbox could not download trancetraffic and pro audio torrent files
My current (3rd) seedbox has had server issues and now my 1gbit seedbox is slower than my home connection!

I just wanted to hear from some satisfied CUSTOMERS that have had a seedbox with minimal issues.

p.s. I don't want to mention the seedbox providers as I know they are active on T-I and don't want to give bad rep/get into an argument

I've had seed boxes from three different companies all without issues. Current one I have I've had no issues with , get good speeds and it never crashes.

I did not have any issue with my seedmonster Box, that was my first seedbox.

I am even more satisfied with my Gamestuff seedbox, customer service is very responsive, i get good speeds and have not had any down time.

I'm interested to hear from some satisfied people here as well. I'm looking to get my first seedbox, so if anyone has some recommendations for a nice reliable and cheap seedbox I'm all ears.

From my experience I can recommend OVH based feralhosting.com boxes.
-SSH access with lot of freedom
-My box has 4 users on it
-Transmission uptime is right now around 80 days mark. (rtorrent hanged sometimes)
-Ive got psyBNC (and irssi) there, wordpress website
-Helpful irc community (with a bit rude staff, but some great tutorials on site)

Bottom line of this little review - For my uses as a seedbox (quite heavy use with 2MBs avg upload) with some additional software on it its rock solid and great value (I use the 10 pounds speed slot as it has unmetered traffic).

I've tried quite a few shared providers a little over a year ago. Never had any major issues at all. Were quite stable as well. Performance varied based on how many users per box (and therefore cost) but that is to be expected. I tended to go for plans that give me more control such as SSH access so I can get in there and restart rtorrent, tweak the config etc.

I now stay purely in the dedicated world which keeps performance at max whenever I demand it.

i have 2 bytesized-hosting seedboxes and ive never had any problems.

i would recommend them :)

Had a Pulsed Media box for two months now with zero issues - until I went over my quota (so my own fault) but when I realised how to remove files with ruTorrent kinda stalled/in limbo from being over quota it came back to life in minutes.
