Thread: seedbox utorrent webUI

hello ,



i have my own tracker , but i don't have good experience dealing with servers and seedbox setup ... i needed to make uTorrent webUi accounts for uploaders .
i saw OVH servers and like to have one .. but i have some questions ...
- OVH is good server in seeding more than 100 files with Kimsufi ?

- what are needed hardware and Ips for that ?

Thirdly Kimsufi would be enough for 100 torrents if they weren't very large
You would need a bigger harddrive if you needed to see a lot of torrents in terms of ram you might wanna get at least a gig

My tracker will be launched soon . and i want to have my start with you ..

you said that kimsufi will work with 100 torrents but i want to make utorrent webui account for uploaders .. so , will they suffer as i heard before that kimsufi doesn't work for more than 5 active torrents .
and what about getting every one an IP ?? Kimsufi has just one IP .. as u know .
and want to have some details about limiting every account for it's limited Space in webui system ..

i wish not to be spamming because of more asking .. and wish to have good answers from you ..

well you can assign as many ips as you want however each webui takes more resources so you may not wanna run too many web ui's on one system

so , how many web UI's to be with one system ??

and is there a tutorial for webUI setup from beginning ?

You should really use Torrentflux if you want a WebUI.

so , what is the difference between torrentflux and utorrent webUI ??

and please get me the answer .. if i make 100 torrents on Kimsufi ... will it work in a good way ?

You need Linux for Torrentflux I'm pretty sure. But Utorrent, especially the webUI is VERY resource hoggy. Torrentflux is much lighter in memory usage and and resources.
