Windows Remote Desktop - What's so special about it?
I've seen a few adverts for them and they always have a much smaller hard drive than other seedboxes without WRD. Is it because you can use your own hard drive and if so, how do you bypass the fact that your own internet connection is much slower than the seedbox?

No.
Generally the windows rdp's are more expensive and less space because windows costs extra money as opposed to linux. So they put more users per server (which also means slower speeds) and smaller drive space.

I wouldnt personally use a windows based seedbox unless it was the last option.
Sure they are good for the complete novice in the seedbox world as its just like using ur own pc. Things are easy to install. But the performance is not that great and the price is more.
