Hey domz,
I like your pricing :)
How long will that promo code be working? I just signed up with another provider on a 100Mbps line, kinda wish I'd seen this sooner... Maybe next month depending on how this provider goes.
I looked at your site, are there no more bronze or silver packages? I'm not looking for much, even that $9.99 plan looked great!
I'm wondering what your setup times are? I'm not sure if I saw that on your website.
I went through your terms of service... there was only one thing that concerned me.
1. Disclosure to Law Enforcement: The AUP specifically prohibits the use of our service for illegal activities. Therefore, Subscriber agrees that the Company may disclose any and all subscriber information including assigned IP numbers, account history, account use, etc. to any law enforcement agent who makes a written request without further consent or notification to the Subscriber. In addition seedmybox.com shall have the right to terminate all service set forth in this Agreement.
A letter?
Now, not that I'd plan to use the seedbox for anything other then the 'norm'. Let's face it tho, the norm in the torrent world is copyrighted movies, music, books and software.
Now here in Canada, if a request like that is made to say, my ISP. They will NOT release any information until a judge has issued a warrant. In fact, my ISP is kind enough to forward any requests they receive of this nature (Not by the authorities granted), TO ME. I get these notices fairly often, sometimes for very obscure things (Quantum Leap?!)...
So to put my concern down clearly, your TOS makes me worry for my privacy. This would ONLY apply to the authorities, not any group masquerading as internet police or anything like that, correct?
Cheers
