you should get an ovh server, since many many people have ovh also. So the internal network bandwidth will be very good. For setting up a seedbox, I find the tutorial at FST on setting up one pretty well made.

I got a Kimsufi seedbox per 40 Eur/Month.
I feel it's worth.
Because it's U/D 100/100Mb and 250HD.

ABout the server, why don't you check out Lease web? Great reviews... I'm about to get one myself. The only drawback is the 2TB limit, but for a start it's pretty good.
If money is not a problem go with keyweb.

i have kimsufi L with ubuntu desktop and rtorrent. connecting thru NX Client. works fine 4 me :)
