What's *NOT* included? - This is a list of things we do not currently support. Honestly if its not above in the included section you would think people would figure out that its not included but still they don't. So here is the not included list
SSH access - This will never be an option. *THIS IS INCLUDED ON DEDICATED SERVERS*
OpenVPN - No plans on supporting this in the near future.
Rapidleech- No plans on supporting this in the near future.
Refunds - This is a big one that people do not tend to understand and quite frequently demand when they realize the above options they "need" are not included. Quite simply we offer trial seedboxes for a reason. If you want to try our seedbox by all means pay for a refundable trial account. If there are no trial accounts available PM me. We will not entertain any refunds on our plans unless under extremely special circumstances.

Below is what I call SeedStuff Q&A!
Q: Whats the difference between a shared/semi-dedicated seedbox and a dedicated server?
A: With a dedicated box you get the entire server for yourself. You get SSH root access to install anything you want to do with the box. With a shared seedbox, we split the dedicated server between yourself and others.
Q: Is there a bandwidth cap on shared servers?
A: No cap, no limits, no shaping. :)
Q: Is there a bandwidth cap on dedicated servers?
A: No! Our new plans feature unmetered bandwidth!
Q: Is there a setup fee for your services?
A: No, We used to have setup fees but these have long been abolished and do not apply. Even our dedicated servers can be setup with no setup fees!
Q: Since you are .ca does that mean you would accept payment in Canadian?
A: We base all of our prices in USD but yes, of course you can checkout in Canadian Funds! Just look on the upper right hand corner for the currency selector.
Q: Are your servers dedicated hardware or VPS'?
A: We do not deal with VPS' at the moment. All of our shared servers are based on fully dedicated machines divided amongst the number of users on that plan. All of out dedicated plans are also fully dedicated servers.
Q: Do you offer free trials?
A: We do offer trials, however due to great demand and abuse of our free trial system we must now charge $5 for the week. We feel this is a fair price for 1 week of service if your serious about being a customer.
Q: Are your trials refundable?
A: Yes, the trial plans are refundable as long as done within 48 hours of receiving your login credentials.
Q: Are your regular plans refundable?
A: No, if you want a refund policy please start by trying our trial plans first.
Q: At the end of my trial will I need to transfer servers if i stay?
A: We make every effort to keep your trial data intact on the current server you are on, however this is not possible sometimes. If your planning on upgrading to a dedicated box this will not be possible.
Q: Is it possible to run a website on a dedicated server?
A: For sure, but keep in mind our web server is run with lighttpd and not Apache so configurations may be different. If you need apache, you will need to install this yourself and it may affect your rutorrent installation.
Q: Can I Customize my plan?
A: No, Sorry. We offer a large variety of plans and we feel we have something for everyone.
Q: Do I receive SSH Access?
A: On Shared seedboxes - No, this will never be an option on a shared box. On Dedicated servers, Yes you will definitely get root access. :)
Q: Do you offer a proxy service?
A: Yes, all our plans come with a proxy so you can download surf your trackers from the same IP (required on some trackers)
Q: Do you allow public trackers?
A: We allow them but do not encourage them. We will not support any issues related to public trackers.
Q: Do you offer an affiliate program?
A: Yes we do! We offer $5 per referral, per month they are active. 4 referrals means a completely free seedbox every month on a noob plan!
Q: Do you install everything for me including the client or would i have to do it myself?
A: We install everything for you!
Q: Do you have a rar/unrar support? and if so, how is it done? by command lines?
A: We offer rar and unrar through our "Filemanager" plugin. Its very simple to do, just right click and rar/unrar.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Paypal and Visa/Mastercard.
Q: I use another payment provider, will you accept this?
A: No, sorry.
Q: Can I switch from rutorrent to Deluge/Transmission or something else?
A: We do not offer anything but rutorrent in our configurations. You can install these on a dedicated box but we will not offer support for this.
Q: I have more questions, how do I contact you?
A: You can either email us, sales@seedstuff.ca or you can post here, PM myself, join our IRC chat, post on our forum or open a support ticket!
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: Yes, but you need to find them. I can't make it that easy :)
Q: Do you offer support for direct download sites such as megaupload, hotfile etc.. ?
A: Not at the moment, we are however looking at adding this soon.
Q: Whats the policy for SeedStuff.ca regarding log files. Do you guys keep logs of clients IP addresses and activity?
A: The servers do keep logs, but they are emptied every 1-2 weeks. This is necessary for our protection as well as to avoid hacking attempts and unauthorized access to your servers. As said we clean them out every few weeks and have no interest in backing them up as we do not need to know what you are doing.
Q: How do you keep billing info?
A: We keep billing info in a server which is separate from any of our seedboxes. Your details are encrypted and not shared with anyone. That being said, unless needed for credit card processing, you are welcome to leave your name with only first initials and a bogus address. These fields are only here for those who need to put them for credit card verification purposes. I have no interest in knowing who you are or where you live as long as you aren't doing anything fraudulent.
Q: Do you do a site to site/Seedbox to Seedbox transfer?
A: Sorry but this is not a service we offer. If you are going from one dedicated box to another it would be possible to setup a transfer using rsync but this would need to be something you would setup without us.
