It's not like we'd be hiding the fact we have to charge VAT in any way.

Ok but clarify it on the presentation page of seedbox ("the price doesn't include VAT or taxes, dependent of your country"). Because when we go to the paiement, it's not a great surprise...

PS : You are one of the few who display price without VAT included. I never see that.

I agree with you, this seems very dishonest. NuCode you fail to inform potential costumers that your advertised prices here are only if you subscribe for 12 months! I don't want to be mean or anything but I do want to let you know why I will NOT be purchasing from you, and maybe you will see my point and at least put in parenthesis the catch to the cheap price!

Most of our customers are from US & AU. Putting the VAT for EVERYONE would not server the 70%+ of our customer base. What you guys are asking favor minority of customers.
That plus it's quite standard that prices displayed first are VAT 0% for many businesses (See Leaseweb for example!)

We also do *NOTHING* to hide the fact that pricing is for annual or semi-annual purchase, it NEITHER is in no way hidden.

Granted, our pricing has changed during the months a bit.
I will check that our thread etc. has this clearly marked and it does not "come as surprise" when going to our website.

Please don't get mad at me because after all I have done you a favor and spoke on behalf of customers like me, most people would just leave your site and never come back. Here is my problem with your business, you clearly advertise on the first page of these forums this item: 2009+ Small: 250Mb Ram, 115Gb HDD. 9.31euro per month!

Yet when I visit your site I get a different story: 1 Month Price - 13.95€
This is called a bait and switch because you clearly advertise your best price without letting the consumer know they have to pay upfront for a year to get this price! Sure this is disclosed on your site but it should also be disclosed where you advertise!

This is makes me think you have something to hide, and you care more about money than consumers. This takes away the power of the consumer when you force them to pay upfront for a long time ahead. Whats keeping you from ignoring them months down the road since you already have their money?

So please before you call me bias, look at it from a customers point of view and REMEMBER that the customer is always right!

To be honest the only thing that has been keeping me from trying one of these is that it doesn't offer http downloads (unless I'm overlooking it lol) Any plans on adding this in the future?
