I actually have one of your 2009 series shared boxes, the 115GB HDD 100mbit line box. Can I get rTorrent 3 installed on mine? I have old GUI, I'm trying to get newer version of rTorrent on there. LOL

I do like the box a lot, I just wish I had spent the extra cash on a faster line, I sometimes have trouble seeding, the up speeds aren't the greatest. But, it was extremely great pricing for a 3 month box. I'm very happy with my pulsedmedia box, and will probably be moving to a dedi or semidedi 1gbit line before my 100mbit box subscription is over. LOL

I will probably do the remote update script during next couple days, so it will be updated to everyone with simply opening the master gui :)

If you upgrade to a bigger plan, you get more bandwidth, less users per server. We can also transfer you to another server if the speed issues are major.

    2009+ and 2009+ X2 are semi-dedicated in nature

I just find that I don't really connect to any users on the upload. I have a file currently seeding that has 167 leechers according to the tracker, and I'm only showing 71, and of those 71, I'm only connected to 9. i'm not sure if it's something on the peer end, where maybe I just happen to be hitting bad files or something, but something is keeping me from connecting to everyone.

You never connect to every single peer, even when locally and putting some absurd 1000 peers. It's small account peer limits which keep from connecting to more, but usually less peers means faster. New setup allows more peers for bigger plans to adjust for the change.

If there's 8 small accounts on a single server and everyone is allowed to connect to 150, that's 1200 peers and usually overhead traffic goes very high along with network stack slowdowns managing so many connections.

If i recall right we have 40 or 50 maximum previously on small plans.

Submit a ticket and i'll check your settings, and move you to the latest production server (using latest version of our software)

THank you, very much. As soon as I can get some extra cash in to cove rthe expenses of the gbit line, I'll upgrade. The only reason I went with the one I did was because I got it for 3 months for only 36USD. LOL Well worth it, in my opinion. But thank you, I'll put in a ticket now.

ALSO: I do understand the limit on the number of peers, and not that I was expecting to connect to everyone, but speeds are usually relatively low, Usually I just chock it up to slow leechers. Not extremely concerned, I leave everything for a few days to seed anyway. LOL

Slow peers, HDD congestion, OVH transit congestion etc. all affect the speeds.
The main benefit of a seedbox is that it's faster than your home connection, and it's seeding 24/7 with no extra costs. Even at 5Mbps 24/7 you'll seed ~1.7Tb in a month.

This is true. LOL That's why I'm not extremely concerned with it. But I'm not really getting 5mbps up tho. I don't have a readout of the total up/down speed on my GUI at this point in time, but I'd say on upload I sit on a good day around 3-4 mbps, which is good, provided there are enough people taking it from me fast enough. Usualy I'm at only 500kbps per torrent tho. Which is still a hell of a lot faster than I could do from home haha, I only get about 500 globally at home before my cnxn starts to die.

Hey NuCode, just wanted to check up, see if the migration is going? I'm holding off on new torrents until I hear word either way. Thanks.

At this point, I don't need anything moved file wise, everything is seeded, so if I'm getting moved, I'll just need the new info, I also submitted a response for the pass change. Much appreciated man.

These things ought to go through ticketing, so these threads don't get bloated :) In any case, yeap it's going on, will be updating the ticket.
