Thread: Any people renting out seedbox space?

Heya all !
So I'm looking for anyone that has some space on their seedbox and wants to rent it out.
I'm still a newbie at this and so I won't need much resources. In fact they'll be next to nothing.
Most of the trackers which I'm registered to have a snatchlist system which means that when I download smt I have to seed for a certain amount of time before I can delete the file. It's like 2 and smt on some trackers.
Anywho this is one of the things I'll be using the seedbox for.
And here's the best part. If I am not mistaken on the bigger servers you the admin could limit the speed of the torrents and stuff. And most of the boxes have like 100 mb connection, well I don't need that much. 10 mb's would be more than enough to seed all my torrents and get a good ratio.
The next thing are the torrent's.
If you must limit them 3-4-5 torrents would be good, if not I would probably use 10-20ish but most of them would be tv shows/comedy stand ups which are like 175-350 mb each.
So that's not a lot right? Taking in account that bigger servers got like 200-300 gigs of hdd
And the last thing is the price. My budget is quite limited but I think I can manage something between $5-$10ish

What do you guys think ? Is this a reasonable offer or I'm asking too much ?

I can manage you a seedbox with 70gb space, unlimited torrents. Frontend ruTorrent, dedicated IP.
Setup 48hrs after payment.
However I am a strict with bandwidth and speed, since I dont want to oversell. The upload speed is capped to 3.2mbit/s for such price.

Not for hardcore torrenter though, but nice for seeding music collections, for example.

Is this offer good for anyone on these forums?

What's the lowest price that you would give me? I'm looking for something that has unlimited torrents, ~40 GB of space, and about 1 MB/s of upload with FTP access. Just something pretty low end.

I've been thinking what kind of package should I offer... and after some thoughts, i guess being so flexible is very difficult :p

I think I'm gonna offer only one package :
-Unlimited active torrents
-90GB space
-400MB ram dedicated for torrent process
-20mbit (2.5MBytes) download speed, 8mbit (1Mbytes) upload speed until total traffic gets 1000GBytes
afterwards step down to 1mbit

*Space upgrade is cheap. Add EUR 5, and you get another 160GB additional.

However, I cant provide cheap price for connection.....
I just can't *lie, telling it has unlimited, unmetered bandwidth etc.... :-( The port is shared between dedicated servers, and I have to make sure all users get fair proportion.
