I have a Gremlin, it works great and the support is awesome. Would recommend to anyone.

Just wanted to share with others that are interested but it looks like many more slots opened open before that were not available before (including the 10gb/10gb Red Dragon). I am currently on the Zombie Box (which has been great and will be writing my review if/when I get accepted here). I may consider upgrading to the Red Dragon myself but I also may hold out for the SSD Plans when they come out since the bottleneck then becomes the HD speed at 10gb.

Although it's likely that the SSD will have less space than a Red Dragon box featuring a normal HDD. If you just download small torrents i guess it's fine but with packs like the ones you find on certains trackers, games/movies packs for example, it starts to be difficult/impossible.

    Take from the following excerpt:

SSD slots on the way — Seedboxes.cc - Quality and affordable gigabit seedboxes with premium bandwidth

So we plan to introduce a new variation of the "Red Dragon box", with 90GB of ultra fast SSD disk space and 10gbit uncapped downlink and uplink, for the same price of 49.95 euros/month!
I will agree with you that the plan is not very good for long term seeding especially for large 1080p video files. Any other applications it is great for and it does help for fresh torrents that you want to get ratio up with. I have 2 seedboxes atm with one having large storage and a slower connection and 1 that has a 50GB SSD 10gb/10gb that I use for building up ratio with. I basically do the initial seed with my SSD box then I FXP the file to my longterm seedbox after the file completes.

I did read the announce as i'm also using a seedbox from them

You're right, it can be excellent for initial leeching/seeding, although lately, i encountered several packs going well over 100 GB. The biggest i've ever seen was a 500/600 GB PS2 ISO pack i think (that i didn't download of course).

Things get a little bit different when you start having a lot of trackers too.

Yea I know what you mean, granted I am just starting out in the private tracker world. It will be nice in a few years when SSD's get bigger in size and become more affordable. The bottleneck of regular SATA drives when the max they do is 80-120MB's and is shared between 2-6 users makes 10gb/10gb plans worthless for them. I guess that is the tradeoff and why I will probably end up just settling for regular sata drives at 1gb connections.

That's something i'm eager to see, it's already been years since the introduction of the first SSD and now we have 512 GB SSD, although they are still a little too pricy if you want to build a rig with 2 TB of storage for example.

I just got a email from seedboxes.cc, the 10Gbit SSD slots are in, 10Gbit up & down... 90GIG HDD 26TB uplaod bandwidth.... Download is not counted.

And these are 10Gbit up and down as apposed to there normal red dragon box that is 10Gbps up and down.(which i currently rent that gives me 80-90MB) So these new ssd boxes will fly i guarantee you...

Looks like they will be stealing seed.st business now with the SSd slots, considering i know a couple trackers that do not allow seed.st seedboxes. Keep up the great work seedboxes.cc!!!

Ill post a review later as i just rented another seedbox from return of the dedi(as i needed more HDD as my 1.5TB HDD from the red dragon is filled up with 90% of BTN torrents LOL, and it will stay that way until i earn the amount of points i need) But i will forsure be trying one of these ssd slots out in the future.
