You'd have to get a seedbox for yourself, and if you absolutely need that traffic at all times (meaning it is reserved by the provider exclusively for your own usage), it's not going to be cheap.

But if you absolutely want this contact us and we'll get a quote from the provider of your choice.

xirvflux, this sounds like a great option so far. Ill try this out adnd get back with a review and my ration. Right now, id recommend this for a few reasons:

1). Whoever is posting in the xirvflux account is staff there, and he/she sounds very helpful and accommodative.

2). It is cheap.

3) They are willing to let you trial.

I, personally, and in financial mud so this really my my only option right now if I ever get one. Xirvflux, thank you for what you are doing right now. You are really proving that you are a very reliable provider and helpful right now.

Quick review.

I have used Torrent Flux based shared seedboxes before and to be honest I dont like them. This box was slightly different.

The speeds were good for a shared box, download speed is always good but I was pleasently surprised by upload speeds peaking well above 3,000kB with sustained speeds over long periods of above 2,500kB.



I estimate in my 24 hours I will have used 200gb traffic. About a quarter is download, more than normal but I was testing the box not just looking for a free days use. I never had to use FTP as the HTTP download maxed out my home connection and did not seem to have any effect on the box's upload speed or server load (which shows it has been well set up).

Complaints? None. I like the fact that there are options to choose from that have not been present in most of the TF shared boxes I have used.

There was a short downtime due to datacentre hardware failure, quickly sorted, but not the common problem with the box crashing due to being overloaded.

I tried it on about a dozen trackers mostly using some pron files as they are always popular and good for ratio. Some examples below.

-RevTT pron file seeded back 4:1 with my five torrents sharing the bandwidth.
-Uploaded 1.4gb pron to a pron site that sounds like HussyTorrents, 25gb before it became saturated and upload fell under 100kB.
-TTi pron, got 2:1 on an unpopular pron with under ten snatches when I stopped it.
-TheBox. Liverpool vs Chelsea, 10:1 and it was still going strong when I stopped it.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone used it on BMTV and how they got on.


Recomendation? Yes, I would recommend it for those who are looking for a nice shared box. Should be easy to get some TB's uploaded with this box.

We have seedboxes accounts for less than $40/month (several options actually). If you want to test us for more than the 24 hour trials you can get a full week for as low as $4.95.

I used the special TI trial service over the 24hr period 16-17/04/09 - my thoughts as follows.

Firstly getting started is very easy. Once you receive your login details (account name and password) you log into your account and are faced with a straight forward gui.

The gui is fairly intuitive and all you need is a torrent file to get going.
Download the torrent file to your machine then upload to the server.
Once the torrent file is uploaded and started progress (upload and download stats) is followed via bargraph and a percentage done.
Once the torrent has finished downloading it will start seeding automatically and represent this figuratively as a percentage greater than 100% (eg 200%, 300% etc). Overall progress is bang up to date thanks to a 60s autorefresh of the gui mainpage.

Cumulative speeds of up to 2MB/s upload and 10MB/s download were reached. Im unsure how many people I shared the server with but was impressed with the overall speeds nonetheless. Please remember that ul/dl speeds are mainly dependant on your torrents swarm figure!

Sites I visited were the relatively not so easy to seed sites eg BitMe, BitmeTV, SCT and SCC where many of the members use seedboxes or have very fast connections. The service accquitted itself well for these sites easily exceeding 200% uploading figures for the Bitme/TV sites and occasionally for ScT and SCC (torrent dependant for all). Swarm numbers for the torrents I chose generally did not exceed 50.

FTP service was also used via filezilla (which I already had). Login details using this protocal are the same as that provided by xirvik and only need setting up once. Uploading and downloading to and from the server is as easy as dragging a file to the respective destination. For beginners the gui is a little more invloved compared to the above but easy to get your head around once you follow the xirvik sites tutorial.

All in all a nice experience and a good choice for for those looking to make their first foray into the world of seedboxes. Price I understand is $20/mth for the service which is in the lower bracket for 'boxes and IMO value for what you get.
