are those 10gbps boxes sold out or wut? :P
Was testing it with rTorrent, and I don't think it is up to the task of 10gbit, I'm in the process of testing other torrent clients.

10gbit seedboxes are now available for $40/month or $12/week, with a caveat.
After thorough research and testing it appears there are no bittorrent clients that have multi-threaded file i/o, so the torrent is limited by the speed of one CPU (there are 16 of them in the server). One CPU seems to be able to handle roughly 110MB/s of file I/O (and I assume file verification) while downloading in all of the clients I've tried (Deluge, rTorrent, uTorrent, Transmission).
What this means is:
Your account will be limited to 110MB/s DOWNLOAD.
Your UPLOAD should be relatively unaffected, I have seen up to 210MB/s in my testing at 65% CPU usage. 400MB/s is theoretically possible on very low latency internal links (other servers at OVH).
Order here:

10gbit servers are named with an 'x' designator, for example the first server is accessible at https://eux1.seed.st/rutorrent

Is there a possibility to change my account from gbps to 10gbps?
Do you mind losing your data?
..kinda
It would take some time with my upload to upload the data back to the server :)
Okay, let's do it this way:
1. order a new 10gbit server.
2. transfer your files from the old server to the new one (via FXP).
3. tell me when you want to cancel your 1gbit server and I will refund you the prorated amount and cancel your subscription.
You'll have to use a different username on the 10gbit server.
If you want to talk to me in real time I'm usually on IRC at irc://irc.p2pirc.org/seed (irc.p2pirc.org channel #seed)
Sure, will do, thanks mate.
Will soon (within 7 days) be offering 100mbit servers with 225GB of space for $10/month or $3/week
Stay tuned.
I'd go for one of these
